chapter 6

this is a bad chapter, Holden and his roommate argue because stradlater is mad that Holden never does what he is asked, he didn't write what he was suppose to write about. Holden took the paper and tore it up and threw it away. Holden was almost nervous and very worried about Stradlater's date with Jane, he just drilled him with questions like where did they go? what did they do? did they go to New York? Did you leave the game early?, etc. Straddler was just getting undressed and clipping his toe nails and Holden got really angry that he wouldn't answer and finally he said how stradlater doesn't care about how Jane saves her Kings and doesn't move them when she plays chess and all of those things like that.Holden doesn't really remember what happened after that he just says how Straddler was brushing his teeth and he really wanted to hit the tooth brush and puncture his throat but instead he missed and hit him in the temple, he used his right hand which he punched windows out with the night his brother died and he broke it so he couldn't really make a good fist with it, but he knew that it hurt him and he kept saying how he probably didn't even know Jane's first name. and how he was just a big moron and other words that are not appropriate for me to say. :) also finally even though stradlater warned Holden not to keep saying things Holden did and finally Stradlater basically knocked him out and he just laid on the floor. Stradlater was almost nervous he told Holden to go wash his face and clean up and then he left and went to the can. Holden got up and looked at himself and saw blood every were on his face and on his pj's and robe, he didn't clean it off, all he thought was Ackley is probably wondering what is going on, so he went to go see him through the shower curtains, even though he hated the smell in his room.

Response- This chapter was intense i think that Holden wanted it to go a little different because he got hurt and he also lost all together. I also think that he really stood up for himself and even though he probably should have stopped talking most of it was probably true.
