Chapter 7

The young soldier had fled and they were all happy because they had won but they talked about how Jim had died, and the Youth was remembering how he saw Jim running when he was injured and he couldn't believe for how bad he was hurt that he could run like he did. The youth is worried because he knows that he has done something bad, he had fled the battle line but he tries and makes what he did sound good and he tries to reassure himself.

i think that he is in the army to fight for his loved ones and for himself and his country and what he did was wrong.
